About The Event

Read the first book of the series by A.A. Milne at home with your family. (Yes, audiobooks count.) Pay attention to the themes of friendship, bravery, loyalty, compassion, and selflessness as you read. Do an at-home prep-project. Then join us on the day of the event with your book, your ideas, your project, and your themed-food item for a fun and friendly, outdoor, whole-family celebration of this classic piece of children’s literature!

To Prepare:

  1. Read the original book at home as a family.

  2. Pay attention to themes of friendship, compassion, creativity, and putting others first.

  3. Each child prepares a small poster with art work and a Pooh Bear or Christopher Robin Wisdom quote (include the page number).

  4. Plan a book themed food item to share in bite-sized-serving sizes, one per person (final number to be announced in April).
