About The Event
This Valentine’s Day (the day before to be exact, Feb 13) , we’re inviting families to join us at Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility for some time spent with senior residents. Children will have the chance to create a Valentine craft and read a picture book to residents.
All the supplies and books will be provided, so come ready to jump in and make a difference! Many of the residents are in memory care or have hearing and cognitive challenges, so patience and a warm smile will go a long way in brightening their day. We encourage families to take initiative in engaging with the residents, as even small efforts can have a big impact.
