Service Project: Autumn Crafts at Senior Nursing Facility

We will make autumn crafts to decorate common areas of the facility while chatting with residents. We will also have coloring pages and themed books. Crafts made with the residents will stay at the facility. Children will not be able to take home their craft, but rather they are working with residents to make a craft that to decorate the common areas. Please let your child know this ahead of time.

While we are focused on autumnal crafts and projects and we will NOT be honoring Halloween in any way, we would like to let you know that the activities director has kindly let us know that there will be Halloween decor (such as witches hats) hanging in the meeting room. If this will cause you any discomfort, feel free to sit this one out and join us next time!
