Join us for an outdoor potluck brunch and a hands-on nature dyeing tutorial lead by one of our very own, Grace. We will share a meal & chat time, learn a bit about the natural dyeing process, and try our hand at Shibori: Japanese techniques. You will go home with 2 tea towels and a 35" silk.

Cost includes the instructions, materials, and two hand dyed tea towels, along with a 35" 35" silk square which can be used as a scarf or a play silk.Â
Dyeing Tutorial Description:Â
Hear a brief introduction and overview of natural dyeing while trying your own hand at it with 2 to 3 colors to choose from. You will also get the chance to learn a few methods of Shibori: the Japanese art of folding and dyeing to create patterns and fabric design.Â
Tickets are not refundable, but are transferable, if needed.
