*Fight Porn! --In this talk, Greta shares how many years of research have led her to the

conclusion that parents are in a battle with pornography for their children's minds, hearts, and very souls. Using research-based facts and from life anecdotes, Greta encourages parents to fight back against this enemy. She equips parents to talk to their kids about pornography and teachs them how to respond to pornography exposure as quickly and safely as possible. This is a difficult topic to be sure, but one Greta believes all parents must consider.

*Cultivating a Healthy Sexual Culture in Your Family — In this talk, Greta

shares about her own upbringing, where sex was rarely talked about, resulting in lots of questions and even struggling with feelings that sex was somehow shameful or bad. Greta then outlines how she chose to approach the topic of sex differently with her own kids, helping them to see their bodies and sexuality as something God-given and God designed. Greta believes this approach is incredibly important as we now live in a time where God’s design and purpose for healthy, God glorifying, sexuality is warped and destroyed by pornography. If parents want their kids to grow up with a healthy view of sexuality, they must give that to them in our homes, starting from the time they are young. In this talk Greta offers plenty of practical advice, as well as books and resources parents can use with their children. Her goal is to help parents feel comfortable and equipped to help their children develop a healthy view of sexuality as it is designed by God.

About Greta:

Greta is a wife of 24 years to her artist husband Aaron, and a mother to 3 teens and 1 pre-teen. She is a second-generation home schooler, a former high school English teacher, an author and speaker.

Greta loves home educating her kids. She finds home schooling to be a deeply creative act, and she loves sharing her passion for good books and outdoor learning with her children. More than anything, Greta loves the way home schooling allows for forming deep connections with her kids.

Greta loves encouraging her fellow parents to dive deep into relationship with their children. She is passionate about helping parents create connection in a disconnected world. Greta is also passionate about protecting kids from pornography and helping parents create healthy sexual cultures in their homes.

Greta’s first book, Adventuring Together, was published with Thomas Nelson in July of 2020. Her second book, 100 Days of Adventure, was published with Thomas Nelson in May of 2022.
