About The Event
This field trip is geared toward 3rd grade students. Younger and older children are welcome to attend, as long as they can actively listen and participate respectfully during the tour. Ticket sales end March 24.
Join us for an immersive historical adventure at Old Poway Park, where students will experience life in early 1900s Poway! This guided tour includes three engaging segments:
The Heritage Museum & One-Room Schoolhouse – Discover how children lived and learned in the early 20th century, exploring farm life, school days, and household chores.
The Nelson House – Step inside a turn-of-the-century farmhouse and see vintage furnishings, a wood cook stove, an old-fashioned telephone, and more!
Train Ride & Operation Lifesaver – Enjoy a ride on a historic train and learn about railroad safety through a fun and educational presentation.
