About The Event
A note about purchasing tickets: Children 0-1 year old are free. Children 2 years old and up must have a paid ticket. Adults and chaperones are free. So when purchasing your tickets, only buy tickets for children 2 and up. Do not buy chaperone tickets or tickets for children 0-1.
Join us for a hands on exploration of the 400 acre Agua Hedionda Lagoon, one of Southern California’s most unique and vital coastal wetlands. This living classroom is home to fish, crabs, hundreds of marine species, and a wide array of native and migrating birds including several threatened and endangered species. The lagoon also supports fascinating current uses, from aquaculture to research and recreation.
On this field trip students will will complete a take home craft activity as well as rotate through two engaging experiences:
