Dos Picos : Self-guided

Dos Picos is a beautiful park located in southern Ramona. The park has a fishing pond, nature trails, massive oak trees and picnic/play areas. The loop around the pond and grounds will provide a nice stroller accessible walk. The ridge trail will give the adventurers a view of the park and likely some fun boulders to climb.

We will begin in the parking lot and will take the -- trail south/soutwest for 1.5 miles. The loop will bring us near the pond where we will linger for journaling and snacks befre heading back to the parking lot. Elevation gain is minimal. Trail is designated "easy" for all age groups. 

Remember to wear cose-toed shoes, hats, and layers. Bring water, snacks/lunch, and nature journals. 

Plan ahead for travel time. Maps currently shows 50 minutes from my house. :)
