A beginner class in which students will meet four art masters and use a variety of media: tempera, watercolors, ceramics, and pastels; for ages 4 or 5 and up. 8 week session. At home reading lists provided. Charter funds accepted.

Ages: 4 or 5 and up
Description:
The impressionists and modern artists developed revolutionary ideas about light and color, expression, and movement all laid the foundations of modern art. During this session we will learn about four masters who made history with their impacts on the art world.
Artists and projects include:
Claude Monet’s Sailboats in tempera
Pablo Picasso's Violin and Guitar in watercolor
Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers in ceramics
Paul Cézanne’s Still Life with Apples and Pears in pastels
